I have spent half of my life studying nutrition and working out. It has been a passion of mine for a long time. My interest in health and sports science began in my teens with a dedication to fitness and copious consumption of vegetables.

Today, I spend a lot of my time in the gym discerning how to cheat gravity through distinctive workouts that may raise a few eyebrows. Pushing my edges just a little bit each time is the name of the game!

Why do personal training?

Sometimes we all need a little extra push beyond what we give ourselves in the gym. Years ago, I went into personal training to help people achieve their fitness goals, and discovered that it helped impact their lives, too.

What makes me diffferent?

I use different types of modalities and exercising strategies to get you fit and make working out seem less like a chore. I do not subscribe to the one-size-fits-all training philosophy. Each client is unique and will get a fitness regimen uniquely tailored to them.

 

I have trained in many different areas from yoga to endurance training, kickboxing, Crossfit and Seal Fit workouts, so my training protocol truly runs the gamut and works with a wide variety of clients.

Above all, I believe in fitness for every day. The one hour you get with me is geared toward the other 23 hours in the day.

How do I like to workout?

If it's a day that ends with a 'y,' I am in the gym. I think of myself as my first client of the day, so my training starts early in the morning. I hit it hard, making sure to set the pace for the day ahead.

As with my clients, I always put the emphasis on building from the ground up with lower body training, since our bodies- like a building- are only as strong as the foundation on which they rest.
